Troop 1988 is chartered to the Montgomery Village Rotary Club, and has been serving the Montgomery Village/Gaithersburg community since 1978. We currently have over 25 members (scouts and adult leaders) and recently honored our 38th Eagle Scout.

What We Do

Troop meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. each Thursday while Montgomery County Schools are in session (September through June) at Stedwick Community Center, 10401 Stedwick Road, Montgomery Village, MD. (map)

There are Patrol meetings and additional activities throughout the year.

We have at least one outdoor activity (camp-out, hike, etc.) every month. A list of the types of activities we participate in can be found here.
